Hi everyone!

Ok, so after 13 YEARS of having blonde highlights I have finally taken a leap of faith and gone BRUNETTE!!!!

It’s seriously taken me half my life to change it up…

(What was my problem??! lol)

But so far I am LOVING it and I seriously don’t know what I was so afraid of??? The very first thing I noticed was that my hair looks and feels more soft and voluminous, and having no roots is SUCH a bonus!!!!

I think I just may keep it this way for some time ;)

Anyway, now that I have a semi-permanent color in my hair I am on a mission to try to really take care of my hair. Not to say that I didn’t look after it for 13 years (or 30 to be exact lol!!),  I think it’s just that I am excited about my new color so I’m trying to go that extra mile, you know?!

So I just bought the DelicateCare Matrix Biolage shampoo without sodium lauryl sulfate – aka “sulphate free” – as well as the conditioner. Now, as a Matrix Biolage fanatic I was hoping that the sulphate free line would still “deliver”… and so far so good!Matrix-Biolage

If you’ve never used Matrix Biolage shampoo and conditioner I highly recommend it. The smell is seriously the BEST, it leaves hair feeling so soft and detangled plus it fights fade out which is super important for color-treated hair like mine.

So what about the whole shampoo without sodium lauryl sulfate thing? I am so curious to know more about this as I’ve been hearing lots lately… I think I’ll do some research.

What are your thoughts?

What is your favorite line of shampoo? Why?

I’d love to hear your comments, so leave me one below!
